WHITEHORSE – The Information and Privacy Commissioner (IPC) released her Inquiry Report today.  The Inquiry Report contains the IPC’s findings following her review of a decision by the Department of Justice to sever a third party’s telephone number from a record requested under the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act (ATIPP Act).

The IPC found that disclosure of the telephone number to the Applicant would constitute an unreasonable invasion of the third party’s personal privacy in accordance with section 25 of the ATIPP Act.  She affirmed Justice’s decision.
