Reprisal Complaints
Reprisal complaints can be made to our office by an employee of a public entity. It is recommended that the employee seek advice prior to making a reprisal complaint.
Complaints must be made within 90 days from the date of the reprisal unless the Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner (PIDC) decides to extend this deadline.
Complaints of reprisal must be made in writing by filling out the Reprisal Complaint Form. Please contact our office to get a copy of this form, then submit it using secure file transfer or deliver in person to our office. Do not email the form as this is not a secure method of communication. If you have any questions while completing the form, you may seek advice or contact our office for more information.
