We investigated a complaint about how the Department of Environment changed wildlife harvesting quotas from multi-year to yearly. Our report concluded that while the Department’s new quota process embodies fairness, transparency and equity, the Department could significantly improve how they consult with outfitters. We made three recommendations and the Department accepted all of them.
